Welcome to Coburg Senior High School
In 2009 Coburg Senior High School has students enrolled in Years 10-12. All students have the opportunity to be involved in an accelerated program that suits their identified pathway. Year 10 students can complete VCE Unit 1-2 units, plus a VET certificate via and ASBA. Year 11 students can choose from a significant selection of VCE Units 1 & 2 as well as 3 & 4 as suits their pathway.. .plus Year 12 students complete a VCE Unit 3-4 program.

Achieving a mean study score of 31 in 2008, Coburg Senior High School topped the list for secondary schools in the Local Government Area, providing a benchmark of performance for the future and providing testament to the academic effectiveness of the 21st Century approach we use.

Our students come from a wide variety of suburbs across the metropolitan area... from Melton, Glen Huntly, Richmond, and Williamstown to Fawkner, Coburg, Ivanhoe and Pascoe Vale South. (to name a few!) Each student has been drawn to the adult learning environment, the high level of computer technology, the quality of facilities and the manner in which learning takes place.

Coburg Senior High School is more than a school, it is a workplace of learning. It has a unique open plan design which incorporates learning commons rather than classrooms. This design and the corporate feel of the school, help create a more university like adult learning where teachers and student learners develop their skills and understandings in a co-operative and supportive manner that has high visibility and high expectations of achievement. Student and staff learning is enhanced by an IT rich environment which has Apple technology distributed throughout the school.

Enrolments are now open to students in Years 10 - 12 for 2010. You can view the online handbooks at: handbook.cshs.vic.edu.au
